Christopher J. Hemsing grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both economics and sociology in 2013. He then obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University Law School in 2016. After passing the Wisconsin Bar Exam in July 2016, Christopher joined the Brookhouse & Hemsing law firm.
Christopher’s primary areas of practice include estate planning, Title XIX/Medicaid planning, asset protection, probate, real estate transactions, business formation, and some civil litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
His father, Joe, is an attorney in Sheboygan, and his mother, Kim, is a dental hygienist. Christopher is very close to his 3 brothers: Ryan, Justin, and Matthew. Ryan is a brand marketing director at Sargento. Justin is also a lawyer at the Brookhouse & Hemsing law firm. Matthew is a medical doctor in Sheboygan, specializing in internal medicine.
Christopher’s personal interests include working out, spending time with his dog, Mika, playing basketball, and golfing. He also is an avid sports fan, particularly basketball, international soccer, and football.
